I’ve been keeping a secret… 🤍 And it’s not becaus

I’ve been keeping a secret… 🤍

And it’s not because I didn’t want to share it with you. I’ve actually wanted to for a long time.

But fertility is such a personal and sensitive journey, and I wanted to be thoughtful about when and how I shared this part of my life.

Last year, I was diagnosed with endometriosis.

Having PCOS myself, I already knew getting pregnant again might not be straightforward. After my endo diagnosis, I honestly questioned whether I would be able to have another baby and give my daughter the sibling I so deeply hoped for her.

I started by trying naturally, using everything I know to support my body and fertility.

Eventually we tried an IUI — the same treatment that had helped me conceive my daughter — but it was unsuccessful.

Our next step was IVF.

But before starting that journey, I decided to pause.

I told myself, “For the next few months, I just want to enjoy my life.”

So I did.

I took care of my body. I spent time with my family. I did things that brought me joy. And I allowed myself to stop thinking about what I needed to do next to get pregnant.

And then…

I got pregnant.

The month before I was supposed to start IVF. 🤍

I want to be very clear: I don’t believe “just relax” is the answer to infertility. It isn’t.

Fertility is complicated. Sometimes you can do everything you know to support your body and still need help. Sometimes the path changes completely along the way.

For me, stepping away from the constant focus on conception was something my mind and body really needed.

And this experience has given me an even deeper appreciation for what so many of you are navigating — the waiting, uncertainty, treatments, hope and decisions about what comes next.

Fertility is rarely a straight line.

So after keeping this little secret for a while, I’m finally ready to share…

Our Baby is due November 5, 2026.

I feel incredibly grateful for this little baby and for this unexpected chapter in our story.

And perhaps more than ever, I understand every fertility journey has its own story, its own challenges and its own timeline.

PCOS is not just an “insulin” problem.

And it’s not just a “hormone” problem either.

A new 12-week study looked at women with PCOS using:

→ Metformin
→ Inositol
→ Dietary changes
→ A combination of all 3

The group using the combination approach saw improvements in:

✨ Insulin resistance
✨ Testosterone
✨ BMI
✨ LH:FSH ratio
✨ Menstrual cycle regularity

And 85% reported more regular cycles after 12 weeks.

What I love about this study is that it reinforces something I see every day in my practice:

PCOS needs a whole-body approach.

We can’t look at testosterone in isolation.

We need to ask:

How is your blood sugar?

Are you ovulating?

What are your cycles doing?

What does your nutrition look like?

How is your sleep and stress?

And what are YOUR individual root causes?

There isn’t one “PCOS treatment.”

There is your PCOS — and your treatment plan should reflect that. 🤍
