Having been diagnosed with PCOS over 15 years ago, I have made it my life’s mission to learn everything I can about PCOS and hormones. I became very interested in how I can help support my body in a natural way that I decided to go back to school to become a Naturopathic Doctor.
Having a special interest in women's health and endocrinology, I uncovered the profound healing approaches of naturopathic medicine.
Driven by passion, I am here to actively raise awareness through social media and create an environment where women can be educated and heard.
My dedication to helping many on a daily basis women balance their hormones, management their weight and improving their fertility is what gets me up in the morning.

If you've been told your testosterone levels are "fine," it's time to dive deeper! A full panel gives a more comprehensive picture. Check out these key testosterone labs for PCOS:
1️⃣ Free Testosterone: Measures the amount of testosterone available for your body to use. High levels may contribute to PCOS symptoms.
2️⃣ Total Testosterone: The overall amount of testosterone in your bloodstream, including both free and bound forms.
3️⃣ Androstenedione: A precursor to testosterone and other hormones. Elevated levels might signal an imbalance.
4️⃣ DHT (Dihydrotestosterone): A potent form of testosterone, excessive levels can contribute to symptoms like acne and hair loss.
5️⃣ DHEAS (Dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate): An adrenal hormone that can be converted into testosterone. Elevated levels may indicate adrenal involvement in PCOS.

And remember even if your labs look normal but you have clinical signs and symptoms of high testosterone it can still be an indication that testosterone is high in the body.
